The Track

from 1969 to 1979 the track in Neuenknick was a normal sand track in an disused sandpit. The sand track was driven by normal mopeds or standard motorcycles.
Until 1979,  national and international races took place on the sandpit. 

In 1979 the members of the club did build a new speedwaytrack because of some sport technical reasons.

Since 1981 the race track is used as speedwaytrack.

Dimensions of the Track:
Today's racetrack is 357 meters long, on the straight 12 meters wide and in the curves the racetrack is 15 meters.
It consists of a clay-lime mixture.

Speed:
The average speed is 80 km/h an at the end of the straight its 110 km/h.
